Rabbi Mark Kram

I remember Dick at his retirement (or at his 25/30 anniversary?) from
Hillel, speaking to a large group of Hillel directors.  He was sharing his
wisdom about what he had learned during all the years he spent doing this
work.  One thing that stands out was when he said that to make a kippah stay
on a bald head, one needed to put water on a leather kippah.  Brought the
house down!  We all remember his leadership, his integrity, his menchlikite.
He is already missed.
